Geotea Srl has equipment and means for the realization of geotechnical site tests aimed to the identification of the main layers of the subsoil and of the mechanical characteristics associated with them.

Our means are composed of two penetrometer rigs mounted respectively on a four wheel drive truck and on a self propelled hydraulic traction wagon with rubber track.

The availability of these machines allows us to intervene both in small rooms with little space and difficult access and outdoors on all types of ground, ensuring rapid execution and high depth exploration of the subsoil.

The company's strong point is ensuring immediate availability for the execution of on-site tests and maximum flexibility with regard to the logistical conditions of the intervention sites.

Thanks to the interpretation of the data, which Geotea runs through the use of specific software, the above mentioned tests allow us to get the geotechnical parameters required for the correct design of foundation structures, to check the stability of soil against liquefaction, through the estimate of the LPI index (Liquefaction Potential Index), and to analyse the stability of slopes and rock masses.
