Aggregates and recyclates lab

Treatment of natural, man-made or recycled materials

Our geotechnical laboratory performs useful tests to define the properties of aggregates obtained by processing of natural, artificial or recycled materials for civil engineering and road construction works.

We support the manufacturer in the process for obtaining the CE Marking essential for placing construction products on the market according to DIR. 205/2011/EEC in accordance with each attestation system "1+, "1", "2+", "2", "3", "4", and Circular no. 5205/05 for the performance characteristics of recycled aggregates, Annex C1 - Body of embankments, Annex C2 - Road subgrades, Annex C3 - Foundation layers, Annex - C4 fills and backfills, Annex C5 - Accessory layers.

We perform all Initial Type Testing (ITT)and follow the manufacturer in periodic production testing according to the normative references of UNI EN 13242:2008:

  • UNI EN 932-3:2004:Test methods for determining the general properties of aggregates - Procedure and terminology for simplified petrographic description
